A blended Imperial stout brewed with UK Malts and aged in American Oak Bourbon Barrels from Heaven Hill and Buffalo Trace. Generous amounts of Pale Chocolate malt provide chocolate flavor and deep black color without the acrid flavors often found in stouts that feature too much roasted barley. The higher ABV is masked by a deceptively smooth flavor with just a hint of residual sugar. ABV: 9.0%
This looks like a steep priced 4-pack but it is a phenomenal beer! The math breaks down to you spending just $10 dollars for 16 ounces. Folks often spend 40 + dollars on 22 ounces. I would drink two this year and save two for a non COVID stout night with friends or saving for a rainy day or celebratory evening.
